Suzy Berland, DPT
Suzy graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health and Human Performance in 2011. She continued her education at the University of Montana School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science where she attained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014. Following graduation, Suzy gained experience working in a hospital based outpatient clinic in Oregon before accepting the position at Catalyst Physical Therapy in March of 2016.
Suzy’s professional interests are in spine rehabilitation, pain management, and return to sport rehabilitation. In May 2016, she became certified in Sportsmetrics, an ACL injury prevention program for athletes. She has experience in manual techniques including joint mobilization/manipulation, myofascial release, strain counter-strain and muscle energy techniques. She is skilled in taping techniques for muscle facilitation, inhibition, and stabilization following injury.
Suzy and her husband, Brian, are Montana natives and have a love for the beautiful mountains, lakes, and wildlife. Suzy especially enjoys spending time with her family and friends snow skiing, wake boarding/water skiing, and playing competitive volleyball.
